Cinnamon Swirl French Toast
Thick slices of our cinnamon swirl loaf are already a treat — but dip them in a silky custard and fry until golden, and you’ve got the coziest brunch imaginable. Perfect for a lazy weekend morning or a special holiday breakfast.
Ingredients

10 slices Sour Crumb Cinnamon Swirl Loaf

4 eggs

1 cup milk (or cream for extra richness)

2 tbsp honey

1 tsp vanilla extract

1 tsp of nutmeg

Butter, for frying
Instructions

Whisk together eggs, milk, honey, vanilla, and nutmeg in a shallow dish.

Dip each slice of bread into the custard, coating both sides.

Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat.

Cook each slice until golden brown on both sides, about 2–3 minutes per side.
Serving Suggestion
Top with maple syrup, powdered sugar, or even a dollop of whipped cream.
