Frequently Asked Questions
How does ordering work on your website?
A: When you submit an order, you’re placing a request—not paying upfront. At checkout, you’ll choose one of our pre-approved pickup dates. We’ll review your request and confirm it based on availability. If accepted, you’ll receive an invoice to complete your purchase.
We bake in small batches to keep everything fresh and made with care. Pickup is available either at our home bakery in Madison, AL (Fridays from 3–6 p.m.) or at local events around town. You’ll receive a reminder the day before your pickup!
When and where do I pick up my order?
We offer porch pickup in Madison, AL, and participate in local markets and pop-ups.
Pickup details are listed on each product or event collection page.
If you're unsure, feel free to reach out—we're happy to clarify your pickup date or location.
Do you offer delivery?
We do not offer delivery, but we're happy to arrange meet-up pickups at Blue Apple Books in downtown Madison by request. If you’d prefer to meet there instead of picking up from the porch or a market, just send us a message!
Do you offer shipping?
We are a home-based Alabama cottage bakery and cannot ship our products at this time. Everything is for local pickup only.
When do I need to place my order?
Orders must be placed at least 4 days before your selected pickup date, or by Sunday night before a Thursday market event.
We bake everything fresh to order in small batches—ordering early helps us prep just the right amount.
Do you take custom orders?
We occasionally take custom requests based on availability, using our existing menu as a guide (bulk cookie boxes, alternate muffin flavors, etc.). If you’re looking for something specific, message us—we’re always happy to chat!
Are your baked goods corn-free?
Yes—all of our products are 100% free of corn and corn-derived ingredients, including corn starch, corn syrup, cornmeal, and baking powders that contain corn.
We’re committed to using simple, clean ingredients you can trust, and we take extra care to avoid hidden sources of corn in all our recipes.
If you have questions about specific ingredients, feel free to reach out—we’re happy to provide details!
