Sourdough Bruschetta

Fresh, toasty slices of our original sourdough loaf are the perfect canvas for bruschetta — a simple but flavorful appetizer or snack. With juicy tomatoes, olive oil, and basil, it’s a crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Ingredients

  • 1 Sour Crumb Original Loaf, sliced and toasted

  • 2–3 ripe tomatoes, diced

  • 2 Tbsp olive oil

  • 1 clove garlic, halved

  • Fresh basil, chopped

  • Salt + pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Toast sourdough slices until golden.

  2. Rub each slice lightly with the cut side of garlic.

  3. Mix tomatoes, olive oil, basil, salt, and pepper in a bowl.

  4. Spoon the mixture onto warm sourdough toasts.

  5. Top with a sprinkle of shaved cheese, if you want.

Serving Suggestion
Finish with a drizzle of balsamic glaze.
