The Journey

This is where I'm sharing the story behind The Sour Crumb — the real, unfiltered journey of building a cottage bakery from home. You'll find posts about learning sourdough, navigating the business side of baking, and figuring out how to grow without burning out.

I'm writing these as I go, looking back on the last few years and sharing what I've learned along the way. Some posts will be about sourdough education, others about business decisions or the honest realities of cottage baking while raising a family.

The blog is brand new, so check back often as I add more stories. And if there's something specific you'd like to hear about, let me know — I'm here for the conversation.
